Graduate Student Checklist Students that have been formally admitted to their programs: ________ Students should check the Department of Educational website to find
information regarding the Tentative Graduate Course Rotations of

Students should file their Advancement to Candidacy forms with the
approval of their advisor prior to the completion of 24 hours of coursework _______Students
must file their Intent to Graduate forms the first week of
the semester they intend to graduate in the College of Graduate Studies _______
MED Students should contact the Department of Educational Leadership at
615-898-2331 to sign up for their comprehensive exams the first week of the
semester they intend to graduate – the exams are typically given in November
for fall graduation, April for spring graduation, and July for summer graduation _______Students
should contact the Office of Teacher Licensure 615-898-2877 for recommendations
to the State Department of Education for add-on endorsements to their teaching
